13 Days of Halloween Series : D-I-Y Halloween Makeup

WFinally, getting all caught up in my delayed 13 Days of Halloween Series blog. Halloween is just around the corner now and I tried on my Dalmatian shirt ... and I look like a cow ... a cow ... so now I have to fix it and hopefully the dog ears and the face makeup will help turn it back into a dalmatian. However, depending on how you go for Halloween, I found Michelle Phan's youtube videos and Promise Phan's youtube videos to be utterly amazing in demonstrating some of the Halloween makeup. Here are my favorite ones! Check out their channel too!!!

I just love Audrey Hepburn...she is such an inspiration to me and I love the movie Breakfast at Tiffanys's!

Wow!!! This is just amazing...if you wanted to go all out for Halloween (:

This looks is creepy yet freakishly cool at the same time... i love how she made her eyes bigger.

So enchanting and haunting...getting chills...from a swan...

13 Days of Halloween Series : Daily Laugh Wednesday - Halloween Edition Thanks to the Ellen Show

Here is the day 2 in the 3 for 1 special in the 13 Days of Halloween Series...so lets pretend it's Wednesday.

We most think of Halloween in fear, but this week I swear I am so out of it and is getting stressed out by the amount of homework, ACT, college apps, and my mood not being so happy. So, for this daily laugh Wednesday, I have some Halloween scares courtesy of my favorite talk show, The Ellen Show. I don't know about you but I love to laugh at people's reaction and being scared though I am like that too. So I hope you enjoy them and bring a smile to your face if you are having a bad week like me(:

Modern Family is one of my favorite shows! It never fails to make me laugh. Plus this new haunted hallway thing on the Ellen Show...pure laughter!

O-M-G so funny...and by The Ellen Show...'nuff said!

The scare montage that Ellen made for her Halloween episode... some good laughs in there!

I hate spiders...and this was just utterly hilarious...Emma Stones reaction was funny as well!!!!

13 Days of Halloween Series : Random Daily Dosage: Computer Halloween Background

forevergina.blogspot.com
Can't find the link or the picture again on google :(
Welp, I am taking a break from attempting to edit and finish my essay for the common app. So I decided that I will show you guys my computer wallpaper in the spirit of Halloween. I usually like the cutesty or fashionable or artsy kind of backgrounds. Especially for Halloween, I don't want to open my computer to a horror, creepy Halloween wallpaper. I mean if thats your thing, thats cool. But I thought this was adorable! And I'm terribly sorry that I did not post anything for the past 3 days because I was having a bad week being swamped with homework due to the end of 1st quarter being next week and the ACT this Saturday which I didn't get a chance to practice like I wanted too, and Early Action deadline being next week Thursday which my teacher didn't submit my recommendation yet....ugh I can't wait for winter break which my family is planning on leaving the states to go someplace warm...(: At you guys get a 3 for 1 special in the 13 days of Halloween Series ! And I'm getting a Kindle Fire HD which I am excited for because my friend has one and I absolutely adore it! S is trying to convince me to get an iPad instead but I was watching the Kindle Fire HD video and it is like the iPad but cheaper (:

What is your current Halloween background?

13 Days of Halloween Series : Easy Decorating Ideas

With Halloween around the corner, decoration not only help attract children to your house for candy but add the sense of festivity to your house! So instead of spending big bucks for all the elaborate spooky props like a coffin or a guillotine (eeeep, scare the kids instead), these decorating ideas will not only make your home more halloweenie and appealing (:

1.  Trash Bag Pumpkin:

forevergina.blogspot.com
made by picmonkey.com
This is so simple and very useful too! It not only clean up all those leaves that are dropping and littering your grass. It also can make chubby, adorable pumpkins! Then you can toss all your leaves away along with the trash bag after Halloween is over!

2. Furniture Covered in White Sheets:

picture from countryliving.com
This is very simple to do and creates a haunting atmosphere in your house comes Halloween and that is taking some white sheets and cover your furniture. This is especially great for parties because they can help protect your furniture from messes and spills.

3. Cotton ball Cobwebs :

forevergina.blogspot.com
picture from : splashofsomething.wordpress.com
Cotton ball cobwebs are really easy to do while creating your house into an historic, scary house. It is very simple to do. Take cotton balls and just slowly pull it apart to create a webby effect. The thinner, the cotton ball is the webbier your spider webs will look! Also, they can be put up anywhere from your lamps to your mantle!! Add some plastic spiders for more of a creepy look.

4. Flower pots Frankenstein :

from : funfamilycrafts.com
This adorable little Frankenstein was something I made in elementary school and is still part of my Halloween decor. In fact I am looking at it right now! It is something adorable and very easy to do. The tutorial on how is by clicking this link.

Hope you all enjoy this fun easy Halloween decoration and comment below if you have other Halloween decor ideas (:

Some Halloween decorating that I find absolutely cute!
So today was our Student Development Day which was the worse day ever. Yeah sure we didn't go to class, but we were on our butts sitting on the floor for the whole day while taking History lecture notes, listening and learning Ethics from TOK and listening to already listened to College Presentation. In History, our teacher got a professor to come in and lecture us on the Arab-Israeli Conflict with the Cold War which I kept wanting to close my eyes and sleep but I couldn't because we had all the history teachers there and one was watching our class. It was such a pain to be sitting on my butt for the longest time... I felt my butt went flat... and I am talking about butts. But yeah, nothing happened at all today like I felt like it was useless. I should of stayed home and worked on homework and college applications.

So once we got home, my mom had her jewelry buddies over and the were making beads together and we had our yummy snack including Halloween chocolates and Pocky from my mom's friend (: We sat down and watched a Halloween movie that we watched when we were young, Twitches Too. Yep, I need to finish Calculus and start cracking on my Common App essay so my friend can help me grammar check it tonight (yes, I suck at grammar)

13 Days of Halloween Series : D-I-Y Costumes

Today my friends and I are having this huge hangout/party thing where we are going to be making our costumes! Making your own costumes not only help save money but also show originality and creativity! This year my friends and I are being obese sheeps!!! (LOL) So here are some easy D-I-Y costumes that incorperate everyday clothing pieces that after Halloween can be worn as part of your wardrobe so you won't have to toss it out or keep it in the basement collecting dust. So here are some D-I-Y costumes from different stores we usually shop for our clothes (: *note: these are my opinion of the costumes but feel free to mix, match or get something else (:

Dotted Bow Back Dress | Pointed Bow Flats in Black or Nude
70 Denier Ribbed Knit Tights | Light Pink Glittered Nail Polish
Matte & Shimmer Blush
Forever 21 Ballerina : This look is completed with the trendy ballerina bun which can be down either by cutting a sock or using a hair donut! Then having a glittery light pink polish will add a little sparkle to the outfit while I feel that the makeup should be natural, dewy and a hint of blush shall help with that (:

Leopard Fuzzy Hat | 2-pack 40d tights | leopard ballet flats
leopard print cardigan | plain black long sleeve top
leopard print jeans | black organza flared skirt | leopard print shoes
leather black boots

H&M: Leopard or Cheetah : this a 2 outfit setting depending on which appeals to you more. First outfit is the black top with the leopard jeans and knee high black boots and the second is the leopard cardigan with the flared organza skirt, tights and leopard flats or shoes. Crimped hair add some edginess of a leopard or cheetah and you can use the leopard hat from H&M or find some ears from your local Halloween store. If you want some more leopard/cheetah, get some leopard hair extensions and clip it into your hair (:

Plaid Flannel Western Shirt | Stitched Cowboy Boots
Dark destroyed jegging | Braided Leather Belt | Fringed Bag
Cowboy Hat

American Eagle : Cowgirl : For this, braids are usually the typical cowgirl hairstyle. Add a bandana to add some cowgirlness to the outfit having fly aways to ensure the down to earth girlyness.

7 row chain and faceted bead necklace | leather motor jacket
long white sleeve shirt | metallic, crackled black leggings
side zipped riding boots | wide two tone ring | 7 ring set
metal aviator sunglasses

Express : Motocyclist    This edgy biker look must have the leather moto jacket and the combat, black boots. Adding heavy metal jewelry such as rings and chains would help toughen up the look. A white bandana also helps toughen up the look too. Use of a smokey eye and maybe an eyebrow tattoo is the brownie points on top!
