First Snow

So as the last day of Thanksgiving break is here (*sad face*) I woke up this morning to the first snow fall on the ground!!!(: I love snow because it just adds to the whole mood for Christmas and maybe this year we will be able to have a snow day and a white Christmas. But with snow is the cold....which I dread. It's the time to bundle up and enjoy your Sunday!!(:

California Pizza Kitchen Fundraiser ... waiting for about 2 hrs to be seating :/ Also they took out my favorite, Greek Salad Pizza and I was experimenting and tried the Pear & Gongorzola Thin Crust pizza which was hmmm earthy. I also got this yummy smoothie drink and tiramisu for desert which I split with my friend.

This week's Mani Monday is a beautiful forest, shimmery green nail polish. I love Rimmel London's Lasting Finishing Pro nail polish because their brush is wide making it faster to apply the nail polish. I love this deep green color because it is very in trend for fall and have that gold shimmer effect that I really love. Also, the container is very cute (: I would definitely recommend these because they do last up to 10 days and give a beautiful rich color.

Since the weather is getting cold and I am getting lazy too LOL. I am currently loving the chunky, knit, oversize sweater with leggings and seriously contemplating whether to convert to a legging lifestyle :P Leggings are super comfortable and a great alternative for sweats to keep you fashionably casual and not drab. Because my number one rule is not to wear sweats out of the house. They just make you very underclass. Chunky sweaters are in trend this fall/winter and they are perfectly balanced by the leggings and to add another trend is the chunky scarf with the sweater and it just gives you a warm comfy look. To keep the outfit fashionable and casual add riding boots or motor boots or if you are short like me heel black boots. And to top it all off, arm candy!!!! Who doesn't love arm candy, but put some on if your sweater is quarter sleeves or you are planning to roll up your sleeves.  

Just wanted to share a very fashionable, casual and comfortable outfit for the fall/winter that I have been wearing for weeks and loving!

Long Night Ahead

So I have a feeling that I will be up tonight to the wee hours. This is because I took a nap right when I got home and watched the Prom Queen Homecoming online series on the CW which was ehhhh....okay but addicting. This made start my homework at like 8 pm.....bad if you have a ton of biology and chemistry to do (cough cough me). So I got my tea by my side and hopefully I won't want to sleep nor do I not sleep at all. So in class we are reading satires for HL and let me tell you I hate it...I don't understand it at all :( Plus todays lecture I was bored an doodled art which I love but never took an art class :( Plus I got my first impromptu IB essay back...I got a D! What! I usually don't score that low...usually A's but this was a shocker. Well, at that day I wasn't into the question and in 20 minutes I thought I wrote not so well. Welp! I need to improve and focus. Just wanted to update y'all on whats going on! Have a lovely Thursday!

Election Day!!

Happy Election Day!! I'm right now on my way to an elementary school to work the polls the entire day. Though I have no school today and could be relaxing....it is a good experience to have since I'm one year to young to vote :( Also this is my first paying job! So hopefully everything goes well and I don't mess it up .... Fingers crossed. So happy voting or relaxing!! Here is my election day OOTD :

So I got sick on Friday from my friend who got it from my other friend ( chain reaction ). I went to 1st hour this morning to do test corrections to raise my grade for the 1st quarter, but we didn't do it in class. We just needed to take them home and turn it in on Wednesday morning. I left right after 1st hour. My nose is all stuffed up and my voice has changed due to having a soar throat. Ugh! and I can't get sick because tomorrow I am working for Election Day and I want the $85 they are paying us. But on a side note, my friend B and I are debating whether or not we should do Solo & Ensemble together for our senior year. It will be difficult because I play the violin and she plays the flute, but our music teacher told us it could work. Well, I'm off to bed! Don't catch the sick bug (or do if you want to get sick)!!

So if you seen my blogpost of my catch up photo diary, you would see that I recently purchased two O.P.I nail polishes from Ulta for $12.00 .... good deal ... you must go and check it out! I was not originally planning on buying this nail polish because I found an Essie one similar to this on sale for $5.99, but I changed my mind because it was smaller and the same price.

I absolutely love this color!!! Like the caption says it is purple with gold flakes making it look majestic. I would recommend putting multiple coats if you want the bottle color. If you want a subtle sheen then do one coat. This nail polish is perfect for the fall because of its deep color. Just absolutely gorgeous, and this being my first O.P.I nail polish ... I must say that I'm impressed and in love(((:

Diary : Happy Early Action Deadline Day

Hello! Sorry for the M.I.A recently, but this week has been stressful and I am starting to feel under the weather. Since I have so much to say, this will be my diary entry and I am going to make a separate entry for my photos (:

I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween though Hurricane Sandy was a bit of a party pooper. I hope all of you in the east coast is safe and my prayers go out to you! Help them by donating to the Red Cross (<-- click the link to help the victims!) So, the weather is getting very cold and windy here due to the Hurricane.

Tomorrow is the last day of the first quarter and because of this, I have been overwhelmed by the amount of homework and due dates because of the push for last minute grades. Let just say this involve very late nights for me. I have a problem with laying down to rest because it results in me sleeping instead. I am trying my sister's method : take a nap and stay up late. Tomorrow, I am also attending an Election Day training session at the city hall because I am working Election Day from 10.30 am to 9.00pm for $85 (I need the money). It was funny because when our school announce this we were all crowded around the office door in the morning to get an application and when the admissions asked who was doing this for money, a majority of us put our hands up, and when he asked who was doing this for NHS hours, only one person raised her hand.

However, HAPPY EARLY ACTION DEADLINE DAY all my fellow seniors applying early action for college/universities! I know a majority of my colleges were all applied for early action and I already got accepted to 2 universities already so I am debated whether I want to apply to a highly selectively school that I wanted to do regular decision because I am already done. There was a mishap with transcripts that on my parchment account I was marked as the class of 2012....which they are already in college.... So, I was a walking dead today literally....I was so tired and getting sick from the lack of sleep.

Math test on probability and calculus was ho hum...meaning not good not bad. I just pray and hope that I did well enough to raise my math grade to an A because right now I have a B+ because of our grades consisting of only test grades -_- Band was boring and mix it with tiredness = horrible. It was funny though this sophomore bass clarinet fell asleep during rehearsals holding her bass clarinet and she looked so adorable, but this saxophone chic kept staring at her and didn't do anything like "ummm don't just stare at her...that's weird". English, we had a socratic circle on the Battel of Books by William Swift, which I have to say in my opinion was an awful book to comprehend. Because our teacher talked for about an hour, we only had 5-10 minutes for our socratic circle which didn't give us a lot of time to say anything...-_-. Luckily, I did manage to get a few words in there (: By the time TOK came, I was ready to collapse. Thank gawd it was the last hour of the day or else I wouldn't be able to function at all.

Well I took a nap until 6.30pm and took a shower, so now I am ready to tackle a late night! Starting to listen to Christmas music right now...I know it's early but I love it !!!! (:
