Photo Diary + Diary: Gossip Girls

Saturday was the day that I wanted to do so many things like B, ST and I had planned a study group for chemistry and history at the library before going to my friend's K surprise birthday party at Olive Garden, but it ended up flopping.

foreverxgina.blogspot.com
So I decided to wear my Hollister tunic, dark blue Hollister cami, Love Culture faux tan leather bow waist belt, black leggings from Parisian and these adorable suede, deep purple/maroon ruffled cowgirl boots with my huge GUESS purse. I was late to the library by like 30 minutes...oosp, but we ended spending the whole 2 hours gossiping. I found out so many things that I didn't want to know and now I can never look at people the same again. I didn't really get K anything expensive because we had to pay for our own dinner and get there early to make the reservations....what? But I gave her these drop earrings I got at the mall, Bath and Body work Japanese Cherry Blossom lotion and nail polish. B gave her a whole bunch of candy and S gave her a card so B said he could share her present. We had to wait there for 45 minutes because it was Homecoming, so we sat there evaluating the outfits and S was busy looking up the people he knew on Facebook.

There was 19 people, 6 of us and the rest family and it was enjoyable. I got the Capellini di Mare which was like a seafood pasta which was okay, but their breadstick and salad was yummyyyyy! We gossiped again with everyone and had actually a good time. K wasn't surprise at all by the surprise party but regardless we had a good time hanging out and such. My sister V was already at the pirate theme homecoming and I didn't go because I didn't have a good time last time, but she came home and gossiped with me more about what happened from someone spiking the water and to my classmate making out with a random chick who was my sister's age.

I was going to do chemistry studying when I got home, but instead I re watched Project Runway with my mom and then alternated between the memoir of SNL and Aladdin.

You know you love me (;

September Favorites

foreverxgina.blogspot.com
*made at polyvore.com*
So September is coming to the end and that means it is time to do my September Favorites. And I just realized after making this, I used Halloween colors...well it can previewing for October favorites...

1) Starbuck's Pumpkin Spiced Latte :  I'm not a huge fan of spiced drinks after drinking a grande chai tea latte because I don't it would taste like milk tea, but ended up being a cinnamon and nutmeg overload. My best friend D convinced me to try it on our shopping trip few weeks ago and I was at first scared I wouldn't like it because of the "spice" part and plus I never had pumpkin before. But I heard a bunch people rave about it and now I am one of those people. It is sweet, warm with a hint of pumpkin and it is the perfect fall drink....YUM!

2) Revlon's Colorstay Cream Eyeliner : My mom recommended this product to me in 10th grade and at first using it, I hated it because it didn't stay on my bottom lashes and kept on running down making me look like a raccoon ...terrible, but I tried it again because I used Essence Gel Eyeliner before and it hadn't really worked out because it still made me look like a a raccoon. So I tried it out again and now I am in love. All I have to do to ensure that the eyeliner won't smudge a much is apply neutral to light eyeshadow under eyeliner and below the eyeliner. I still use the gel eyeliner for my upper lids, but this cream eyeshadow gives me a more natural, soft look.

3) Pink Chandelier's It's a Breeze Collection Product : Oh - my - gawd...this collection is the most amazing collection that I love oh so much/ First the prints are so adorable and remind me of Vera Bradley a bit. Second, the paper feels so nice with it being an offwhite and feeling of a different material. The covers...sturdy and looks recycled. I have no words to describe the collection, but inexpensive and amazing.

4) Old Navy's Cheetah Flats : Not specifically meaning my Old Navy cheetah flats, but any cheetah print flats are just for me the shoes that help bring out any outfit instantly making them chic. They add that pop to any outfit from comfy cozy to sophisticated and I think beside black and nude shoes, cheetah prints are a must have!

5) EMOJII (: I love emojii while texting or adding some fun to my iCal, but the reason these are my favorite is because of the new ones from updating my iPhone to the iOS 6! OMG they have new cute ones like an eggplant, pigs, poodles, food, smileys! AHHH in love!

6) Marvel's Avenger Movie : OMG I love this mash up movie even though I didn't watch any of the individual super hero movies and I have been counting down the day until it comes out on DVD and we bought it immediately and watched it again! AHHH this is one of my all time favorite movies! It is hilarious yet full of action which is my favorite combination! I just love it and can't wait until Avengers 2 maybe I'll go to the midnight premiere :O <----emojii!

7) Grey's Anatomy : NEW FAVORITE SHOW! I just started watching last week and I'm already on season 2! (not that far lol) I love the doctor drama with hints of comedy, and since I want to eventually become a pediatrician it is a good show for me to start watching with all its medical terms and such.

8) Mindy Gledhill : Just absolutely love her songs! They are indie with the cute quirkiness I love. I especially love the songs "Whole Wide World" and "California". Just dying with the about of love to her songs!

What are your September Favorites?

Photo Diary + Diary: Friday Night Lights

I know today is Sunday, but I didn't have time to put them up so you are going to get both Friday's and Saturday's Photo Diary + Diary! Two for One (:

Today was one of the most hectic yet the most fun night ever! So I drove today because my dad decided to take the day off. So I got to drive my future car to school! I had to get there early because I had a Math SL test on descriptive statistics and had to pick up my IB invoice from Mr. L. I wore my pink Old Navy sheep like jacket with my PINK cropped pink/drk gray top and my AERO dark jeggings that are at the last leg of wear and my destroyed flat suede black scrunchy boots. I looked like a sheep which for Halloween my friends and I are going as obese sheeps (inside joke).

I didn't have time to go to my locker since there was already a long line to pick up our invoices and I was running into math class with my lunchbox, B day backpack and huge GUESS purse. My hugest concern with the math test was 1) I wouldn't be able to figure the problem out and 2) (the problem I always run into) I wouldn't be able to finish on time. However, this test was actually not that bad, I finished with 2 minutes to spare and had time to review and look over.

Band was same old same old, but English was the day of socratic circle....on Hamlet....So since on Thursday I absolutely did nothing I had no notes on Hamlet and I was discussing the soliloquy of "To Be or Not To Be" and that actually went okay. One guy, A, kept on arguing and everyone was kinda getting fed up with him and another girl next to me, V, said the most ridiculous thing ever that made people stop and stare at her with her it was saying that the 1st option of Denmark is like a circle and within a prison and they were all going to die unless they were out of the circle....wtf? But I realized that my jacket sleeves made my arms look like llamas, and I thought if I was a dude wearing this jacket I could go to a girl and be like "check out my llamas"....loll.

TOK was such a blow off because.....we had a sub! Mrs G. who was the coolest sub with the coolest glasses that were circular and hot pink! We wanted her to be our teacher instead of our current TOK teacher. We ended having the last hour to do homework which we just talked.

I came home and caught up on my tivo'd stuff, which was Project Runway (omg the babies were hilarious!), Modern Family (it was an okay premiere, not as funny as some of their other episodes), and the new show Elementary (really cool and I kinda want to watch the original BBC one now). Then I lost track of time and had to quickly get ready to meet D and my friend from my home high school, M, to go to the homecoming game for our home high school.

foreverxgina.blogspot.com
So I didn't have an gear from my homeschool, so I went with the colors, blue and black. So I wore my v-neck royal blue t-shirt with my AE light wash distressed jeans with my Hollister thick braided leather buckle belt, AE suede brown clog slippers and my Northface white fuzzy jacket. I regret wearing the distressed jeans because it was freezing towards the end of the game. Let me tell you that I am an intense person when it comes to sport... I mean I get very into it. Also, it was my first ever live football game and it was so exciting because I got to see people that I went to Elementary and Middle School with play! The Eagles shut out the Panthers who didn't have that people come support them by 53-0! It was really really good! (:

Until next time.

Photo Diary + Diary: I thought today was Friday

I seriously thought today was Friday. Because we had no school on Tuesday, I am seriously messed up on my days and forgot we had school tomorrow.

foreverxgina.blogspot.com
Today was going to my lazy day because I didn't feel like doing anything, so I decided to try the sock bun that I failed so many times before because of the layers of my haircut. However, I finally got it to work! Was so so so so happpy :) I used an old sock I had (as you can see it has school buses on it). My layers did come out but I just used bobby pins and hairspray to keep it in place. Then, I decided to wear my new H&M oversize cardigan and BAM comfy cozy chic and I have gotten so many complements on my hair and plus it makes me look like I have a ton of hair :)

The local tv station came to our school to interview and showcase our school today and it was very cool being they told us this while we were having a college presentation for the college

foreverxgina.blogspot.com
Oh so much homework, this week or next few days! I at first had 3 test and a presentation on Monday which were Biology, Chemistry and 20th Century History and a Chinese presentation  My worst nightmare came true at first, Biology and Chemistry on the same day, and that would mean all our Biology would be due and it is a lot (an example of the specific notes we had to do above). Then today our teacher spoke these beautiful words, "Your ch 16.17.18 test is going to be moved to Wednesday." OMG joy!!!! Happiness !!! That means I can study for the dreaded Kinetics test in Chemistry. I dropped recently to SL Chemistry because I can't handle HL and I was afraid of failing the IB exam.

I have a Statistics test tomorrow for SL Math, which I took a Statistics class in 10th grade as an AP class and now I'm cracking out the AP books and now not even the AP books, but the ACT books. Yes, if you look closely you can see that I have an ACT admissions ticket... I am taking the ACT yet again. Because I gotten a 29 on the ACT and after hearing all colleges talking about scholarships and honors college starts at a 30 so I need to get that 30 or higher. So this would be my...(embarrassment) 10th time taking it...yes I said 10th. I started taking it in 2009 so like 8th-9th graders. Yes, I was that young... what was my parents thinking.

foreverxgina.blogspot.com
Hamlet....tomorrow for English class we have the dreaded socratic circle. If you haven't participate in a socratic circle before it is basically a small group of people inside a circle discussing while everyone else sits outside and "listens". I say "listen" because truthfully no one listens. I don't like socratic circles because I hate being under pressure to talk... I get nervous and start blabbing. I especially hate dominators in the groups because then I don't have time to talk and get the A. So, I usually try to get group of people that don't talk, but tomorrow's group has a few dominator so we need to battle it out.

Well I was bored on Wednesday in English class and me and my friend B were talking about the Renaissance festival with my table mates and B brought up her favorite part... the pickle selling man because he sells the pickles funnyingly (not a real word). So I drew pickles in all my table mates Hamlet books on page 157. I got the girl pickle, B got the boy pickle, K got the french pickle (she's taking french, and her pickle is my favorite), D got the sleeping pickle (bc she always sleeps in class. B claims it looks like a puddle), S got a musical pickle (she is taking IB music), and other K got the shopping pickle (she is very upper class like and is very fashionable). So I am the odd chicken out again for our table for groups which I am happy because I don't want to duke it out with my friends.

foreverxgina.blogspot.com
So the parents are away for our school's Open House and while "studying" meaning attempted study or do anything which I didn't do anything due to the lack of concentration and my stomach growling "feed me", I made myself a toaster strudel. OMG they are heaven and I <3 the frosting to the nth degree. Eating breakfast as a midnight snack is always yummy. My sister nibbled on my strudel because she is trying to keep the weight down for Homecoming...stay strong baby sister. But we ended up....

foreverxgina.blogspot.com
Making a whole meal. At least it was healthy, it was avocados, scrambled egg whites, sliced Asian pears, and green tea.  I was in charge of eggs, which I messed the pan up because I added more egg whites than I did vegetable oil making the egg soak up all the oil and causing the pan to be stuck to the eggs. The oil is limiting reagent while the eggs were the excessive (chemistry is seriously starting to get to me).

Preview of tomorrow: Homecoming football game, college applications, ACT and driving (yeah buddy!)

Until next time.

Mani Monday & Mini Review: Betsey Johnson's Sparkling Personality Nail polish from Sephora by O.P.I

foreverxgina.blogspot.com

So since I always take off my nail polish at the end of the school week because they are chipping and turning disgusting and redo them on Sunday/Saturday's nights. I decided to start Mani Mondays which I know is a huge thing, but recently I have became obsessed with nail polish and my nails naked aren't the prettiest things ever, trust me.

So here is a nail polish that is absolutely adorable and on sale too at Sephora, actually the whole Betsey Johnson's Sephora by O.P.I nail polish is on sale for $5.00!!!! This is called "Sparkling Personality" and the nail polish does stay true to its name. It is very sparkly! It may look like a silver sparkle; however, this is where the personality comes in...it actually has a different color speckles of sparkles. So at first together it looks silver, but really it is speckles of magenta within it! I love how it doesn't take that many brush stroke to get this look, it dries very fast, and it doesn't chip off easily! I just didn't like the texture it felt, but it can be easily changed by some top coat (:

Overall: * * * * *

First Day of School! (Part 1)

*not my video, from youtube
** cuteness :) hopefully your first day of school went well

First day of school today.....let me tell you, 5.30 am is not a good time for me and now it is all over, my last first day of high school :( Today was an eventful day, the school didn't turn on the air conditioning, we have new very strict rules, and my locker is on the other side of the school! Oh, did I mention I already have a ton of homework? Yeah, just my welcome gift I need. However, I do have some good new....I PASSED MY ROAD TEST!!!!! *raise the roof* Finally! I was so happy when I finally passed; it was all about confidence which taught me to always feel confident in what I do and not to give a care what other people think. Well its 10 pm and I'm sitting here trying to finish my essay....not going so well and I feel like I am going to pull an all nighter...on the first day, yay. Well I did have a can of Mountain Dew and a cup of coffee so I am buzzed with coffee! I might be able to start my A day homework...ha. Here is a play by play if you guys are so interested in what happened on my first day :)

1st hour: Was actually early to Chinese, came about 10 minutes early, but actually stepped into class about 3 minutes before because I walked around with my friends. Found out we had new rules which include no eating, drinking, or chewing gum while I had half a pb&j and water out on my table....awkward. Had to do a 2 minute presentation demonstrating we did our summer homework....more awkwardness. Found out my locker was on the other side of school...moped

2nd hour: Sat in a room of 40 kids in Biology that was a sauna. Got 4 homework assignment and freaked out when we were going to get quizzed randomly... :/

3rd hour: Sat seriously contemplating whether or not to drop to SL Chemistry after hearing how the seniors last year did on the exam. Died a little when I didn't understand what was going on and died a bit more when I learned I had more homework. Dropped my nectarine on my planner while attempting to write something and eat my nectarine.

4th hour: Had an early dismissal for my road test while telling everyone it was really for a doctor's appt.

Road Test: Sang to myself while parking, freaked when there was a ton of cars on the highway and I was told to merge.

Well yep now I am trying to finish my essay and hopefully get to start on some homework. Wish me luck and hopefully you had such a great first day or if you are like me great first day part 1.
